By law, to operate as a Financial Adviser in Australia it is necessary to hold an Australian Financial Services License or to be authorised by a holder of an Australian Financial Services License.

ABN 93 106 888 215, an Australian Financial Service Licence holder (No 245569).  The advisers of Fort Financial Group provide financial services advice on behalf of the CAR as Sub Authorised Representatives of Meritum Financial Group Pty Ltd.

We choose to be authorised by Meritum Financial Group Pty Ltd who, for a fee, take responsibility of all our compliance and legal requirements, our Professional Indemnity Insurance as well as provide an Approved Product List and the continuing professional development which we are required to undertake under ASIC legislation.

Similarly, we choose to have an association with ALCo who, as well as providing advice, support, ongoing education and an Approved Product List, allow us access to a wide range of lenders, covering a diverse range of respective interests. They also ensure our use of dedicated processing teams with lenders, which improves the service we can provide to our clients.
